World Bakery & Cafeteria

I heard about this place about a year ago when I was getting tires changed on my car. I noticed the guy who worked at the tire store was eating a Cuban Sandwich and asked him where it was from. He had just mentioned it was from a place off of Pine Ridge near Collier Blvd in a strip mall. I know not a lot of details...Fast forward to yesterday, it was about 2pm on a Tuesday when I was on my way to pick up my daughter from school, I hadn't eaten any lunch and was traveling on 951 toward North Naples and suddenly this place popped in my head. I didn't know the name of it nor it's exact location but I decided to try and find it and I did just that. It's nestled away in a strip mall just off Pine Ridge Road and Collier Blvd.

When I walked in I was greeted right away. There were people already in line to place their orders and other patrons already enjoying their food at the tables.

You can order from their hot food display or place your order for one of their Cuban Sandwiches which is what I opted for along with Moros y Cristianos (Cuban Rice and Beans).

The Cuban Sandwich was very good and was made to order. The Cuban bread was toasted perfectly and topped with ham, cheese and pork along with the mustard. A great choice along with the Rice and Beans and a can of Diet Coke for $9.00 including tax.

I was tempted to try their array of desserts displayed throughout. They also do custom cake orders. I will definitely be back to have a Cafe Con Leche and Tres Leches. I would definitely suggest stopping into this place for some great authentic Cuban food.
